LinkedIn verifies your identity (you are who you say you are). We verify your credentials (you are qualified to give advice in parenting, mental health, fitness, or nutrition). They are complementary. We actually recommend you get both.

Every application is assessed against a two-tier framework.
Tier 1 covers degree-level qualifications from an accredited university in a directly relevant subject.
Tier 2 covers active registration or certification with a recognized regulatory body in your field. Both tiers meet a rigorous standard and both receive the verification badge.
Accredited Mind Care (Mental Health)
Active registration or licensure with a recognized mental health regulatory body. Examples include BACP, UKCP, BPS, BABCP or NMC in the UK, state licensure as an LPC, LMFT, LCSW or Psychologist in the US, CCC or R.Psych in Canada, and equivalent national licensure across the EU. This is our highest-risk category. Registered and licensed professionals only.
The Paediatric Standard (Parenting and Child Development)
A degree-level qualification from an accredited university in Early Childhood Education, Child Psychology, or a directly related field. Or active registration with a recognized regulatory body in a pediatric or child development setting. Lived experience alone does not qualify in this category.
Regulated Clinical Health (Physical Health)
Active registration with a recognized clinical regulatory body. Examples include GMC registered doctors, HCPC registered physiotherapists and NMC registered nurses in the UK, and equivalent regulated clinical registers in the US, Canada and EU.
Evidence-Based Nutrition
Registration as a Dietitian with a nationally recognised regulatory body. Examples include HCPC in the UK, CDR in the US, and provincial Dietitian college registers in Canada. The title Nutritionist is legally unprotected in many countries and is not accepted as a standalone credential.
Certified Physical Performance (Fitness)
A nationally accredited personal training or strength and conditioning certification from a recognised body, with active certification status. Examples include CIMSPA or REPs recognised qualifications in the UK, NASM, ACE, NSCA or ACSM in the US, CSEP in Canada, and Europe Active recognised certifications across the EU.
We do not accept:
Course certificates from non-accredited providers, student or associate-level memberships, the title Nutritionist without Dietitian registration, lived experience as a standalone qualification, lapsed registrations or certifications, or applications from outside the UK, US, Canada and EU

We verify earned credentials only. If you have completed a degree or obtained a license, you may apply. We do not verify "currently enrolled" or "in progress" credentials. You must have the final certificate or license in hand.

Every application goes through the same five-step process, reviewed by a real person:

Initial eligibility check: We confirm you meet the basic criteria before reviewing any credentials
Document review: We review your submitted credentials against our published standard for your chosen category
Independent verification: Where possible, we cross-reference your credentials against publicly available professional registers and accreditation databases
Bias and consistency check: We ensure our decision is based solely on your credentials, not your follower count, content, or opinions
Decision: We issue one of three outcomes, Approved, More Information Required, or Declined

Yes. If you hold recognised qualifications in more than one of our five categories, you can apply for verification in multiple categories within a single application.
Each category will be assessed independently against its own standard.
You may be approved in one category and not another, and we will communicate the outcome for each category clearly.

If you wish to apply for verification in an additional category after your initial application has been completed, this requires a new application and a new verification fee of £100.
The £50 Founding Influencer rate applies to initial applications only.

The standard verification fee is £100.
This covers verification across one or more categories within a single application.
An annual listing fee of £30 keeps your verified profile active and your badge live.

For our first 20 applicants, a Founding Influencer rate of £50 applies.
Places at this rate are limited and will not be extended once filled.

All fees are inclusive of VAT. Payment is processed securely via Stripe.

The average vetting process takes between 7 to 10 business days, depending on how quickly we can access and verify information from official public registers.

More information needed: We contact you with exactly what is missing and give you 14 days to resubmit

Declined: You receive a clear explanation of the category your application fell short in. You are welcome to reapply in the future if your credentials change.

You receive your Authentically Verified badge to display across your social media profiles and website, along with your public profile page on The AuthenticALLY directory.
As the platform grows, verified influencers will have access to brand partnership opportunities through our directory.
We will keep you updated as these become available.

The verification fee covers the cost of reviewing your application and verifying your credentials, not the outcome of that review.
If your credentials are assessed and do not meet the standard for your chosen category, the fee is not refundable.
A refund is only issued if we are unable to complete the verification process on our side.

Yes. If you cancel before we begin the verification process, you receive a full refund. Once verification has started, refunds are only issued if your application is rejected.

Yes, you may cancel at any time. Your verification will remain active until the end of your current paid year. No partial refunds are given for unused months. To cancel, email us at least 30 days before your renewal date.

Once verified, you will receive a unique verification profile link hosted on The AuthenticALLY website.
Your badge lives on this page and is publicly visible to anyone who visits it.

This approach means your badge is always live, always accurate, and cannot be faked or copied by anyone else.

Yes. You may share your verification link across all social media profiles and websites that you own and control.
You may not share your link with another person or allow it to be used to represent accounts you do not personally operate.
Violation of this policy results in permanent revocation of your verification without refund.

YYour verification remains active as long as your annual fee is paid and your credentials remain valid.
We do not require minimum posting activity.
When you return, your profile and badge will be exactly as you left them.

Yes. We are fully GDPR compliant.
Your credential documents are handled securely and are never shared publicly.

The only information visible on your public profile is:

Your name
Your verification category
Your verified degree subject
Your awarding university
Your graduation year

Your professional licence number, registration number, and full credential documents are never publicly displayed under any circumstances.

Yes. That is what the annual renewal covers.
Each year we ask you to reconfirm that your credentials remain active and in good standing.
We then re-run our full verification process to confirm nothing has changed.

If your licence or registration expires or is revoked at any point during the year, your badge will be deactivated until the matter is resolved.

Every verification profile is hosted directly on The AuthenticALLY website with a unique link that cannot be replicated.
Because the badge lives on our platform rather than as a downloadable image, there is no badge file to copy or fake.

If you become aware of anyone misrepresenting themselves as AuthenticALLY verified, please report it to us at info@theauthentically.com.
We take fraud seriously. Trust is the foundation this platform is built on.

Our verification confirms qualifications, not the quality of advice.
A qualified professional can still give poor advice, and verification does not change that.

We recommend using our verification as one factor in your decision, alongside your own judgment and, where appropriate, consultation with a trusted professional.

If we find evidence of misrepresentation, we will revoke the influencer's verification immediately.
